Veronica Melkonian

Veronica Melkonian (she/her) is a London-born British-Armenian photographer based in the UK, specialising in outdoor adventure, action sports, portraiture, and commercial imagery. She is dedicated to diversifying perspectives in the outdoors and amplifying underrepresented voices.

Starting out on 35mm analogue film, Veronica worked with Oscar-nominated cinematographer Bradford Young to develop TRIBE7, a cine lens technology brand, before taking the leap to digital.

As a second-generation immigrant of mixed heritage, she explores identity through imagery, examining how we connect with our communities and express belonging. Passionate about empowering women in action sports and diversifying creative spaces in the outdoor industry, she uses her lens to tell inclusive and authentic stories.

An experienced speaker and presenter, Veronica has hosted panels and talks on the female gaze in sports media, climbing culture, diversity in the outdoors, and the impact of social media on creative industries.
