Veronica Melkonian
Veronica Melkonian (she/her) is a UK-based British-Armenian photographer specialising in commerical, portraits, outdoor adventure and sports photography. Veronica is also an experienced speaker and presenter and has hosted numerous talks and panels.
Starting out on 35mm analogue film and working with Oscar-nominated cinematographer Bradford Young to build his cine technology brand TRIBE7, Veronica now took the leap to digital and now uses her camera to increase representation in the outdoors.
As a second-generation immigrant with mixed heritage, she is interested in exploring the concept of identities through imagery and the ways in which we connect and layer these through our communities, lifestyles and homes. She is passionate about diversifying the space behind the lens in the outdoor industry, as well as empowering women in action sport.
